I love making this Creamy Espresso Martini Recipe for brunch parties. It’s a fun way to incorporate coffee and a cocktail! I personally love the creaminess and sweetness of the Bailey’s in the drink paired with salty brunch dishes (like Breakfast Sliders) over a traditional espresso martini. These cocktails are so easy to make that you can always give your guests the option!

Recipe Highlights
- A luxurious and creamy cocktail, perfect for a brunch treat or dessert drink.
- Only three ingredients!!!
- Super easy to make for guests on the fly!
Ingredient Notes

- Espresso: Use freshly brewed espresso for the best flavor. If you don’t have an espresso machine, strong brewed coffee works as a substitute, but the foam won’t be as prominent.
- Vodka: A neutral vodka works best, but vanilla or coffee-flavored vodka can also be used.
- Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur : The star of the show, Baileys delivers creaminess and sweetness in one.
How to Make a Creamy Espresso Martini

- Step 1: Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker.
- Step 2: Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds.
- Step 3: Pour into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Step 4: Garnish with espresso beans and serve immediately.
Tips for making the best Creamy Espresso Martini with Baileys

- Using chilled espresso and vodka ensures your drink is cold without too much dilution from the ice. At minimum chill your martini glasses by placing ice in them. Drain and dry before pouring the shaken cocktail.
- Shake the cocktail shaker vigorously for 15-20 seconds to create the perfect frothy espresso martini.
- If you like a sweeter cocktail add some simple syrup to the cocktail shaker. For more coffee flavor add some coffee liqueur like Kahlua.
- Add coffee beans, grated chocolate, or even a drizzle of caramel syrup to your espresso martinis for a pretty and elegant garnish.
Recipe Variations
- Use a plant-based Irish cream like Baileys Almande for a dairy-free option.
- Add a teaspoon of chocolate syrup to the shaker before mixing for a chocolate mocha espresso martini.
- Add a pinch of sea salt and caramel drizzle for a sweet and salty martini.
Recipe Substitutions
- In a pinch replace with 2 oz of strong brewed coffee, cold brew coffee, or cold brew concentrate.
- Try other cream liqueurs like RumChata instead of Bailey’s for different flavor profiles.
- You can also replace the vodka with gin for a gin espresso martini.
